Transferable Summer School Courses
Yes! You can take your summer course at Math Support Services. Days and times are flexible so you can still participate in summer sports, hold a job and go on your family vacation. Summer classes include tutoring, study halls and class time.

One-on-one tutoring services are available all year. Continued tutoring will help your child be prepared for the upcoming school year.
Math Support Services has expanded hours in the summer months. Summer is the best time to build confidence and strengthen basic skills. Providing a head start for the upcoming school year will benifit every student whether prepaing for an Honors course or just stoping the summer brain drain.
Students may take a transferable course or continue with one-on-one tutoring Many students choose to take a course for credit during the summer in place of going to summer school. Small group workshops are a great idea to get a jump on difficult concepts of an upcoming fall course.
Students can use this time to prepare for High School Entrance Exams, PSAT/SAT and ACT tests, or take workshops that strengthen an interest in learning and develop study skills.
SAT/ ACT/ PSAT Preparation Workshops Yes, we cover all of the topics on these important tests. Our staff includes a credentialed English teacher with more than 20 years teaching experience including extensive test preparation experience. In these comprehensive classes students will learn strategies, timing techniques and specific content (critical reading, writing and math). They will take and review several actual exams (released College Board exams). In this fun and interactive workshop students are motivated to prepare for this all improtant test. We guarantee that students will gain a minimum of 150 points! Please ask for details. We even include study skills, focus techniques and a test taking section to reduce anxiety.

Math Can Be Fun Summer is the perfect time to build and strengthen mathematics skills for the upcoming school year. Your student will work in a small group setting with an experienced tutor to review and learn fundamental concepts and create fun ways to remember them. Each session is tailored to the individual student to meet their needs, interests, and level of background knowledge and learning style. Homework will be given to reinforce the material learned during these interactive sessions.
Pre-Algebra/ Algebra Connections Course This course is available year round . Each section is 2.5 credits. Students can earn a maximum of 5 credits. Included is a review of fundamental math skills that are vital to success in Algebra I. Basic math operations, fractions, percents, decimals, and variables are some of the topics covered.
