COURSES FOR CREDIT

Complete List of Subjects | Spring 2012 Scholarship Application | Spring 2012 Class Schedule

You can take your math class at Math Support Services in Santa Clarita and have it transferred to your high school! We are accredited by WASC, and our classes meet the UC a-g requirements and are NCAA compliant. Our summer school program is open enrollment. Students can take classes to get ahead or to replace poor transcript grades from previous math and science classes. Partial scholarships are available. Please contact us and ask if this program is right for you.

Our programs are flexible, motivational and very successful. Students can schedule a course one-on-one or enroll in a small group class. Summer students may enroll in one of two group sessions or the flexibility of one-on-one and semi-private classes to work around vacations and sports schedules. Students meet with their group class twice a week for two hours; study halls to support students are included weekly. Private students meet one-on-one with their instructor and will also attend study halls to complete exams. Courses are available between 8 am and 8:30 pm on weekdays.

Structure & Schedules

Courses are supervised independent study or small group instruction. Student work is overseen by a teacher holding a California teaching credential in mathematics. Study hours are verified by completion of weekly assignments. Students are required to pass chapter exams and a cumulative final exam. Attendance is mandatory for all scheduled class sessions, tutoring sessions and study halls.

Transferable semester courses: Private and Group Classes

Students can take math and science courses at Math Support Services during the school year if the course they need is not offered at their home school. Home school students, students who are working professionals, and students with learning difficulties, ADD or ADHD all benefit from our individualized approach to course work. We also accept all juniors and seniors who need to complete a course to maintain college admissions status or qualify for a scholarship opportunity.

Students may join one of our group classes or schedule a private class. Private classes include two private tutoring sessions per week, one two- hour study hall and materials. Students have up to 12 weeks to complete the course.

Please contact us or call for more details. You will need an enrollment application available at Math Support Services. Digital versions are also available.

Group Classes

Our class size average is only 8 students, with a maximum of 12! This affordable option is available only at the beginning of each semester and in the summer.

Student Success Statistics

Math Support Services students show consistent results with over a 95% pass rate. 75% of our students achieve A's and B's with comparable success in their subsequent course work at school.
